【Ubuntu 11.10】ブートローダーが壊れて起動できなくなった。一応、直ったけど・・・どうして直った？？

この記事は私がやった事を覚書（日記）として書いています。（同じようにやって上手く行くとは限りません）

2011/10/2の朝、Ubuntu 11.10(Oneiric)を使おうと起動したら、下記のメッセージがでて起動できなくなりました。

(゜o゜)ゲッ!!　ブートローダーおかしくなった。。

私の環境は、Ubuntu 11.10を起動は基本的に、ntldr → grub2 → Ubuntu 11.10 と起動しています。そしてntldrの編集にはEasyBCD 2.0.2を利用しています。

また、Ubuntu 11.10 は/dev/sda2に入れていて、grubのブートセクタも/dev/sda2に入れるようにしています。

たまたま、前日の夜に行ったアップデートで、grub2が1.99-12ubuntu5にアップデートされたので「ひょっとして、grubのアップデートが原因が？？」と思ってしまいました。

そこでとりあえず、別ルートの起動方法(『【Ubuntu 11.10】Oneiric Ocelot Alpha 1 をハードディスク(HDD)にインストール ( 4thブート)』参照）があるので、そちらからブートしました。

そして、下記を入力してみたら、エラー・・・

あらﾉ(´д｀*)・・・そこで、試しにforce オプション。

Installation finished. No error reported.

入ったのかな？？　でも、依然として始めのメッセージのまま。

夕方になって、もう一度アップデートしたら今度はinitramfs-toolsが入って、イニシャルRAMディスクが作りなおされました。

でも、ほっておいて今度はEasyBCD (http://neosmart.net/) を2.1にアップデートして、一度Ubuntu 11.10を呼び出すエントリーを削除して再作成しました。

そしたら、直りました。ただ、色々ごちゃごちゃ弄り回したので、どれがきっかけで直ったのか分りません。

それと、grub-installでPBR指定の時は、--force オプションが必要なのかな？？それとGrub4Dosは意識してインストールした事が無いので、EasyBCDがインストールしたのかな？？いずれにしても、調査しないと分らないです。

    2011/10/2の時点で価格.comでも
    売れ筋ランキング２位でした。
    PS3にも使えるみたい。(私はPS3持っていませんが・・)
